Maija Hollmén

Maija Hollmén is an Adjunct Professor of Cancer Immunology at the University of Turku and a principal investigator in the InFLAMES Flagship Programme. Her research focuses on the tumor microenvironment, with particular emphasis on myeloid cell biology and immune checkpoint regulation in cancer. By integrating translational models and patient-derived material, her work aims to identify novel therapeutic targets and improve the efficacy of cancer immunotherapies.
